El Sistema is a publicly financed, voluntary sector music education program in Venezuela founded in 1975 by Venezuelan educator, musician and activist Jose Antonio Abreu which later adopted the motto Social Action for Music.

We wear gorilla masks in public and use facts, humor and outrageous visuals to expose gender and ethnic bias as well as corruption in politics, art, film, and pop culture.

Prison Performing Arts involves incarcerated youth and adults in the performing arts to inspire intellectual curiosity and personal development. We nurture and discipline teamwork and communication skills necessary for successful re-entry into society.

Works of HeART is a creative, humanitarian project intended to inspire people of all ages & from all walks of life, to help change the current tide of unkindness, bigotry, bullying & fear by using various forms of artistic expression, talents & collaboration. 

The Freedom Theatre draws its inspiration from a unique project, Care and Learning, which used theatre and art to address the chronic fear, depression, and trauma experienced by children in Jenin Refugee Camp. Set up during the first intifada the project was run by Arna Mer Khamis, a revolutionary who devoted her life to campaigning for freedom and human rights, together with women in the refugee camp.
